This is fantastic! When I first looked at the picture, I thought it was just a basket with lid that you painted & distressed. That would have been good, but WOW! I consider my self somewhat creative, but my mind would have never gone there, & what you did is great. Very creative. Thanks for sharing.

Now that’s a compliment and a half, Gail. Thank you very much. I’m still trying to figure out why they call them oil baskets unless they have some kind of lining inside that you can’t see in the photos. Either way, I’m really happy with how mine turned out and I had loads of fun too.
