Oh I love the idea of making the little topper as part of a girls scout group, Suzanne. A 15 cm x 15 cm (6″x 6″) piece of fur for each bottle topper should be more than enough. Hope you all have loads of fun making the little Leprechauns

Could you tell me what size piece of fur you used? I’m looking to do with my girl scout troop and want to purchase the correct amount and want to cut it for each girl to have the right size. Thanks!

Hey Karen, I love your ideas on how to change the bottle toppers. Stunning, thank you. The beard is a piece of faux furry material that’s been lying around in our craft cupboard. Hope that helps

Hi, this is too cute! I was thinking that this can kind of be adapted to any season using colors for different holidays. A scarecrow, elf, even a rabbit using two of the hat points by just rounding the top for ears. I am a creative crafter but I am having a problem with the beard. Is that brushed wool? I was thinking yarn but I know it wouldn’t brush and look like your beard. Is there anything else besides wool I could use? Wool isn’t in my stash.
