Mmmmm, that’s an interesting question Jodi. The first thing that comes to mind is using those plastic funnels and painting them a tan, browny color perhaps and the tip a black or grey. Hope that helps and I’d love to see how your big pencil pole turns out. It’s such a neat idea for an elementary school. As long as the sharp pencil tip can’t hurt any of the little ones.
